What could have brought about great changes to his old Planar 2?

Hi Michael, I hope this finds you well. I have enclosed some images of the installed new belt, pulley, sub-platter, and underslung counter-weight/end stub on my old faithful Planar 2. Very easy to install and I have been listening on a daily basis since and the sound is just getting better and better. I am now becoming aware of details in familiar music that I never heard before. The soundstage is also more defined, bass more precise and the highs more detailed - overall I could not be happier with these upgrades. They show an attention to detail and care in their making that is quite beautiful. Many thanks for answering all of my questions Michael and making the whole upgrade experience so pleasurable.
