Endrik from Philippines has done several upgrades to his Rega P3-24 TT :
1. Aluminium sub-platter, dual pulley and silicone belts, click to read more .....
2. Top, bottom bracing and aluminium feet, click to read more  ......

This could be his last tweak ... underslung counterweight and motor base upgrades ...

Enjoy!

Note : He has posted more details in Lenco Heaven. Click to  read more .....

*Proceeded on installing the counterweight first, removed the stock metal stub*

*Installing the motor isolation support*

*Making sure that the dual pulley is on the center of the hole and that the top portion of the motor is at least 2mm below the plinth*

 *FINISHED!!!*

It definitely sounds much better and the improvement after playing a record is immediate. This is my LAST TWEAK since I think I have wrung every bit of potential from my Rega and now it's time to just enjoy the music!

Endrik

Thanks Endrik!

Michael, hands down, the motor isolation support is the most cost effective tweak imho! Thank you very much for all the help:)

Forgot to add that instead of using the supplied cork, I used dynamat attached to the base of the motor support! Much better:-)

Michael, I have upgraded the thread in Lenco Heaven. Posted new pics also, instead of the ebony footer, used the inverted rega rubber footer and instead of sand, packed it with blu tack! The table is dead silent now and the details astonishing!:-)

Hi Endrik,

Good idea(from Wes of Canada) travels fast and you never stop to amaze me with your ability to wring out every bit of performance from your trusty Rega, P3-24.

Keep up with the good work and enjoy more analog music.

Cheers!

Michael
